We want to develop ourselves or our business to achieve success. We set goals and measure our success in those goals accordingly. Many people think quantitative results are the only way to measure - Money made, a due date, a particular number achieved. They are hard facts.
ROI - Return on Investments - aren’t much different. Typically it is quite factually based. And if you calculate the possibilities - the potential - you can also quantify the return you should receive upon achieving the goal(s). You can recognize the investment level required to achieve the return before you jump in.
The ROI of coaching is often not grasped until after the coaching begins. Because coaching is about unlocking potential, there will always be a direct correlation between the quality of the thinking and the amount of action put behind it. ROI is determined AFTER the investment.
