Process - Week 2

“For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may

receive what is promised.” Hebrews 10:36 ESV

Simon Sinek, author of The Infinite Game, advocates breaking free from the confines of a finite existence solely focused on fleeting achievements. Embracing such a limited mindset restricts the full potential of our lives, as it closes us off to unforeseen opportunities that may lead to far greater rewards than our initial pursuits.

This sentiment is echoed in Hebrews: "Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised" (Hebrews 10:35-36).

Endurance is paramount in playing the infinite game. Cultivating endurance requires establishing processes that transcend mere outcomes. For instance, do you hit the gym solely to reach a specific weight or clothing size, or do you prioritize fitness for a vibrant, active life in the long run? The gym serves as a process, but the overarching goal determines its true value. Refuse to sacrifice the enduring pursuit of infinite goals for short-lived gains. Instead, build processes that fortify your endurance.

Go, outlive your limits!
