John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
The problem with bad experiences is that everyone has them, no one likes them, and few
people make bad experiences and positive experiences.
Truthfully an experience, no matter if it is positive or negative, leaves us the same afterwards. There is life before the event and life after the event. You must change, there is no going back. Do you want the change to be positive or negative?
How you use the event will determine how you are benefited or hindered. The event, whether positive or negative, is of little consequence. You can choose to either be improved by your experience or you can choose to be hindered by it. A positive experience can yield a negative result if you become entitled or selfish because of that positive experience. A negative experience can yield a positive result if you learn from it and make life changes to improve yourself and those around you.
Pain is unavoidable. How you use pain will determine your effectiveness on those you disciple.
