Romans 5:3-5 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that
suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
How you choose to approach pain will ultimately dictate the effectiveness of your life and your ministry. If you take a negative life stance, you will always be the victim. It will always be someone else’s or something else’s fault for where you were at. More on that June 28.
However, if you take a positive life stance, then pain merely becomes an avenue to lift yourself, and those around you up. When we live in a positive life stance a person's overall frame of reference comes from their core values put into action. When we live through our core values and a positive life stance, then our actions become automated. This occurs because we will naturally do what we believe is the right thing to do. We create an active life stance, which is optimistic and takes action. We find hope regardless of our circumstances.
