The Global Leadership Insider is a newer publication from Maxwell Enterprises to which I
have subscribed. In the December issue, they provided a 30 day challenge. Something I thought would be a great way to start 2025.
Here's the kicker.... Don't wait.
Start today or tomorrow at the latest. Don't wait for the first of the month or wait for your favorite number or day of the week. Do this as a favor to me - and even more importantly, to you.
I'm not even through my full 30 days as I write this. One thing I know though, is I'm more aware of the holes in my leadership and what I want to make different throughout 2025. Let's face it... There is always room for improvement.
Leadership is a journey. Not a destination.
If you need some accountability, let me know. I'll send you a daily reminder. If you want to see more action and application, let's set up a Discovery Session or some coaching. Make it a gift to yourself that keeps on giving.
Leadership Challenge:The Self-Awareness 30-Day Deep Dive |
Self-awareness is the cornerstone of truth-based leadership, enabling leaders to align their actions with their values and intentions. This month-long challenge invites you to reflect deeply, audit your decisions, and seek honest feedback to build a foundation of authenticity and integrity in your leadership journey. Over the next 30-days, use the following steps to reflect on your leadership journey, and be more intentional in leading with truth.
1. Daily Reflection Journal: Capture insights about patterns or realizations over time. Spend 10 minutes daily answering the following questions:
2. Weekly Truth Audit: Choose one area of your life or leadership role and conduct a “truth audit.” Identify gaps between your intentions and your actions, and create a plan to align them.
3. Feedback from Others: Ask three trusted colleagues or team members for honest feedback about your leadership. Use questions like:
4. Set a Truth Goal: By the end of the month, set one actionable goal that aligns your decisions and leadership style with your core values. |
