“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?
It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.” Matthew 5:13 (ESV)
Being a leader is an incredibly fulfilling role. It entails more than initiating new ventures like an entrepreneur or pioneering new paths. It's about paving the way for others to follow, replicate your successes, and surpass them.
When you're the first to achieve something, it's important to think about how you can enrich the experiences of those who will join you on your journey. After all, what's the joy in reaching a destination if you can't share it with others?
Sometimes, leaders worry that bringing others along might crowd the top. But in reality, leadership is expansive. The more people we empower to influence others positively, the greater the capacity for growth. Intentionally guiding and inspiring others is like seasoning a steak with salt—it enhances the flavor and makes the entire experience much more enjoyable.
Go, outlive your limits!
