Well, it’s approaching mid-month. . . . I hope you are setting yourself up for success in 2023 by looking at the possibilities, and asking yourself, What Could Be . . . ?
What is your financial plan for 2023? John Maxwell wrote an excellent book called Winning with People, and in it he shared the Foxhole Principle. When preparing for battle, dig a hole big enough for a friend. We all know that we cannot predict the future; and we recognize that bad things happen. Yet, so many people seem to prepare for the best; hope for an even better tomorrow; and then cry and complain when real life happens. In fact, it doesn’t always happen to us, it happens to the ones we love. We cannot actually do as much when it comes to others; other than be there with them. Sometimes we can do more; and even when we do, we say we wish we could do more. We can do more, if we choose to be a little more prepared.
The question I must ask myself: Am I a friend that others depend on during difficult times?
